Drew Crandall, Founder and President of KEEP IN TOUCH, has extensive experience in customer service, sales, marketing, research and communications.
Drew is a genuine "Connecticut Yankee" and is one of Bridgeport Hospital's miracle babies in the 1950s. His roots in New England go back 11 generations to the Rev. John Crandall. In 1634, Rev. John sailed from England to Boston. The next year, he helped Roger Williams to found the Colony of Rhode Island and the very first Baptist Church in the New World. While not a direct descendent, Drew comes from the same Crandall family as Connecticut's Official Heroine, Prudence Crandall.
During his college years, Drew worked at Stop & Shop Supermarkets, Aetna world headquarters, and Walt Disney World. Upon graduation from the University of Connecticut at Storrs, Drew served as Research Project Supervisor for MBD Associates, an association management firm in Washington DC. He led a team of associates full-time at the Library of Congress, compiling research that documented the value of active participation in vocal and instrumental music. From there, he became Director of Member & Industry Relations for the American Music Conference in Chicago, a non-profit organization to encourage active participation in music.
Although he could have had a good career in Washington DC or Chicago, Drew's heart was back in his native New England. He landed a job as Northeast Regional Sales Manager, and then National Sales Manager, at Star Instruments, a pioneering manufacturer of electronic musical instruments in Stafford Springs, CT. From there, he served as Account Manager, Account Supervisor, and Vice President at MARCOM, a full-service marketing communications agency in Manchester, CT. He founded Keep In Touch in 1988.
Drew is very active in professional, business, community, and ministry organizations. He is also a seasoned print, online, TV and radio journalist.
